The Major European Manufacturers & Suppliers will meet with Major Russian End-Users to sign the orders for security systems purchasing. The budget for purchasing is over $325 million.

First edition of International Security Summit RUSSEC was held 23-25 April 2008 in London.

Organizers were: Form Russian Side – GROTECK Business Media – the Leading Russian B2B Publisher and media solutions provider From European side - Notting Hill Media, publisher of the web portal sourcesecurity.com

15 Major Russian End-Users, invited to visit the conference, together provide over 25% of purchases on the Russian Security Market. It means that for CCTV, Access Control and different kinds of Alarm Equipment they spent over $325 million in 2007 year.

Among them there were such well known names as OAO LukOil, OAO SurgutNeftegaz, Russian Cooper Company Participation of such companies as OAO Gazprom, OAO Russian Railways, OAO Kamaz, OAO SalavatNefteorgsintez, OAO Severstal, OAO Norilsky Nikel, and other key players.

From European side such well known companies as HID, Dedicated Micros, CBC, LB Group, Ingersoll and some other companies.

The format of the RUSSEC was unique for European Media Market: Each manufacturer prepared 15 different presentations, taking into account the requests from key Russian end-users. Russian guests evaluated the latest developments and novelties of the European Security Market: each presentation was orientated to the specific client.
